About us
When the Body Can't Breathe Properly, It Compensates Everywhere.
Compensations from a breathing disorder reach far beyond the airway — into sleep, energy, mood, pain, focus, and the body's capacity to function optimally.

Exhaustion that outlives sleep. A mind that will not settle — or brain fog that will not clear. Pain that migrates and does not resolve. These may be signals from a body working around a compromised airway.
The Center for Breath & Beyond was built around a different question: not how to manage the symptoms, but how to address the structural root cause for why your body is compensating in the first place.

HOW WE HELP
Find Your Path Forward.
Start with what matters most to you — your own body, your child's, how the process works, the patients who have walked this path, or the book written to share the science and stories behind patient transformations.
Not sure where to start? Find out if you or your child may be a candidate.

What Makes This DIfferent
The first clinical model built to treat the root cause of sleep-disordered breathing
Four specialists. One patient. A diagnostic intake where findings are shared across disciplines before the first treatment decision is made.
Diagnostic depth beyond a standard exam
3D imaging, autonomic nervous system testing, and postural assessment. All completed before any treatment plan.
Specialists who work together, not in isolation
Chiropractic, neurological evaluation, physical therapy, and oral appliance therapy. Same facility, same imaging, same patient.
Treatment sequenced to what the body needs first
Pelvic stability before cranial work, neurological readiness before structural expansion. The body leads, not the protocol.

Our process
A Different Process, From The Very First Step
No referral required. No diagnosis required. Just three steps between where you are now and a clinical picture that finally explains what your body has been doing — and what to do about it.
01
Book Discovery Call
A brief conversation to understand your situation and answer your questions before anything else happens. No commitment. No cost for the call. Just a starting point.
02
Diagnostic Records
We gather the imaging, testing, and clinical data needed to see the full picture. 3D scans, autonomic nervous system testing, and a comprehensive history.
03
Explanation of Findings
Your team walks you through exactly what they found. What is driving the symptoms, how the pieces connect, and what a treatment plan looks like.

Patient Testimonials
Real patients. Real journeys. Real words.
Most of our patients arrive after years of treatments that addressed the symptoms without reaching the root. Their stories vary — in length, in diagnosis, in resolution. What they share is the moment the pieces finally began to fit together. Below, a few of them in their own words.
"A Decade of Searching, Three Months of Healing"
At eleven, I had four teeth extracted for orthodontics and my energy plummeted. I spent a decade chasing answers around the world — upper cervical, cranial work, rapid expansion. Three months with Dr. Esmaili achieved what ten years could not. For the first time, my weight was translating into the ground instead of floating.

"A Life-Changing End to TMJ Struggles"
I'm just so happy that I don't have migraines anymore. It was hard to live with... I can't wrap my head around it. It definitely changed my life, and it was totally worth it. Thank you for fixing my TMJ problems and changing my life.

"From Hopeless to Hiking, Singing, and Dancing"
When I first found Dr. Bahar, I was struggling and hopeless for my health. I had to have a plastic appliance in my mouth all the time — it was too uncomfortable to be without. Now I only wear a mouth guard at night. I'm able to sing, hike, dance, and travel — things that felt out of reach before.

"TMJ Pain Gone, Breathing Restored"
I came in because my jaw hurt so much. Within a few weeks my TMJ pain was gone — I can't even remember I had it. I couldn't breathe through either nostril and had asthma attacks. Now I'm breathing through both, and I'm just chilling. There's so much more room in my mouth.

01. Who is The Center for Breath & Beyond for?
We treat adults and children whose symptoms point to a compromised airway — whether or not anyone has named it that way before. The most common reasons people come to us include chronic exhaustion that sleep does not resolve, sleep apnea (with or without CPAP success), chronic fatigue, jaw pain and TMJ disorders, headaches and migraines, mouth breathing, snoring, and children with symptoms misattributed to ADHD, allergies, or behavioral issues. If any of these sound familiar, you may be in the right place.
02. How is this different from CPAP, surgery, or a regular dentist?
03. What happens at the diagnostic intake?
04. How long does treatment take, and what does it cost?
05. What if I've already tried other treatments and nothing has worked?
